I worked with Bill at Kohler many years ago. What a talented, fun, nice person to work with. He certainly left his mark on Kohler Company. RIP Bill

My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of William. It can be very difficult and distressing to cope with the loss of a loved one. It has helped myself and others knowing that our dear loved ones now rest in the loving memory of our Grand Creator, Jehovah. ( Psalms 83:18-God's name) May you find comfort to know that Jehovah hates death. ( 1 Cor. 15:26).And promises to eliminate death forever and bring those sleeping in death back to life on a cleansed earth. ( John 17:3;Isaiah 25:7,8;Acts 24:15;Rev.21:4,5;Psalms 37:10,11,29). I hope these few scriptures along with your own good and loving memories of William help to bring comfort, peace and a hope.

Few people had the gifts Bill had, and he was generous with them. His passion for photography and for writing was matched by his talents for both. Every time I was with him, I was happier for it. Laughter was a guarantee with Bill. Even now, in his absence, my memories of him are all joyous. Rest in peace, my dear, dear friend.

If there's such a thing as a human unicorn, it was Bill Hanley. He was larger than life, with a brilliant mind, a biting wit and an authentic commitment to making the world a better place. He saw beauty in everything, every place and everyone, and captured it in words and photos that let us all see the world from his lens. He dearly loved his family and his amazing wife, Linda, and never missed an opportunity to talk about them, or how good his life was because they were in it. He was a fan of Corey Chisel and all things Appleton, and was the only person I've ever known to say "I think Elizabeth Warren is hot." Bill was a good man, a great friend and the kind of person the world needs more of. I am so profoundly sad that he is gone, but, so incredibly thankful that I had the great honor to know him.
