I just learned of Bill's passing and wanted to send my condolences to you. Bill and I met many years ago when we played Little League baseball on the Berggren Brothers Sport Shop team, he at shortstop and me at second base. I was 10 years old, Bill was 11 when we met. He was a friend to me as were you, and it saddens me to hear of Bill's passing. I have tried over the years to find both of you without success. Should you ever wish to talk with me, my number is (425) 298-0654, my email is [email protected] I wish peace and solace to to you, my friend.

I found out today via Kirk Anderson that Bill has passed.
I'm so sorry to hear it. We went back a long time. We were in school together and made a lot of music with The Chosen Few.
Bill was one of the softest, considerate people I had ever met. There was no way I can imagine to not like or love him.
We lost contact after high school, but I never forgot him. As a matter of fact, I searched Facebook just a month or two ago trying to find him. I'm saddened to have found him this way.
My condolences to the family. Bill was a good man and we'll see him on the other side.

Kris, I am so depressed to find out that Bill passed away! I just found out. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family and friends. If I had two hearts, they would both be broken. 15 minutes before I found Bill's obituary on Google, I had found Steve Chady's obituary. He passed away 7 weeks after Bill. I've been hit with a double heartbreak. I met Bill in 7th grade. I played football. He was the equipment manager. I liked him right away. It was hard not to like him right away. He was so nice and fun and always found room for plenty of smiles, and willing to help you with whatever you needed. A perfect friend. I moved to Los Angeles in 1974. After the internet became available, I would Google Bill just to see if I could find any information on the two of you. I retire at the end of this year and I'm moving back to Appleton. The two people I really wanted to see again was Steve and Bill. Now that is gone, forever! Oh how my heart aches. I don't know if I can stand much more of this. Oh how he loved you! I asked him how things were going between the two of you. He told me, inside his dad's yellow ford outside his apartment, that he knew you were THE one. He knew he was going to spend the rest of his life with you. I am so sorry for your loss, Kris. I will always keep Bill and Steve in my heart forever. I just can't believe this is happening. :(
