I was so shocked to see your Dad’s obituary & so very sorry. I want to tell you a story regarding your parents & hope it brings a smile if not a good laugh as I am doing now. They called me& said they were going down to LaCrosse to visit their son & roommates & somehow it was decided that my daughter should go along to visit her brother. Well Sunday when they got back your Dad would not get out of the car but your Mom was nice enuf to help my daughter to the door—she apologized because she brought my daughter back with the FLU???!!! Do you remember what kind of flu you guys gave her?? Now tell the truth cause I do!! You guys were, are & always will be a joy to my life & want you to know you have my deepest sympathy

I am sooo sad! My twin brother Jim and I grew up in the same neighborhood as Wayne. We walked to kindergarten up through all the years . Wayne spent a lot of time at our home , many meals and activities. Years ago I gave them a stack of photos from the past. I have always loved Wayne...you boys had wonderful parents.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Wayne for many years and he was always positive and happy. Great man. I also met his wife and she was very pleasant as well. Prayers for your loss.

Batley Boys & Families...First, we were saddened by the loss of your Mom. Now, your Dad following so soon thereafter. While we have been out of the neighborhood for many years, our wonderful memories of all the fun times under the big tree that separated our houses will last forever. God Bless Vonda & Wayne. It is our privilege to have called them friends. Pat & Paul Meier
