Age 54, died on Sunday, September 9, 2001 at Lakeview Manor, Weyauwega, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Walter was born on May 7, 1947 in Appleton, son of the late Emil and Emma (Schumacher) Wallerman. On September 13, 1969, Walter married Judy Fiske, and they have enjoyed over 31 years of marriage. Walter was employed at Presto Products for 25 years, until his early retirement due to illness. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. Walter loved his children and enjoyed his family, and he will be greatly missed by them. He is survived by his wife, Judy; his daughter, Tracy Wallerman, Durango, Colorado; his son, William Wallerman, Appleton; a sister, Bonnie (James) Lembcke, Appleton; a sister-in-law, Barbara (Tom Beyer) Bermel; and a brother-in-law, Joseph (Doris) Fiske. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by his brother Lowell and his sister Eunice. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, September 14, 2001, at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 326 East North Street, Appleton, with Rev. Willis Bloedow officiating. The interment will be held at Dale Union Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, September 13, from 4 until 8 p.m., and again at the church on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Manor for their loving care and concern. In lieu of flowers, memorials to benefit Alzheimer’s research would be appreciated.
