Walter C. Richie, age 64, of Little Chute, died Monday afternoon, April 4, 2005. He was born October 16, 1940, to the late Fred J. and Eva V. (Griffin) Richie, Sr., in Milwaukee and was an area resident for the past 10 years. Walter is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Jeff Lamers, Combined Locks; a granddaughter, Ashley Peterson, at home; two brothers, Fred J. (Rosalie) Richie, Jr., Florida; and Gerald (Genevieve) Richie, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara J. (Syperko) Richie, January 2002. Private family services will be held, with Reverend Ronald Szep officiating.
