Coach Hinkens was a very positive force in my high school years both as a teacher and a coach. He was always wearing a smile and had a good joke ready for class. He pushed us on the football field and had the right priorities of his position as a coach and a mentor.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Sue and family, I have great memories of Glen. All of my uncles were so good to me when I was younger. I remember him calling me when I was a senior in HS after we lost our last BB game. He put sports in perspective and gave me great advise. He was always joking around and had a great heart. I will not make the service but will watch on line. God Bless!! Bruce

So sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to have Mr. Hinkens as a teacher - he was a favorite of mine as he was for many others - lots of laughs with his sense of humor in class and in the hall as he would often stand outside his classroom keeping an eye on things and giving students a quick witted line as they passed by. Hugs and prayers for you all.

Coach Hinkens was my teacher first, but it wasn’t getting a B in chemistry I remember when I think of him. I didn’t play football, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t know him as coach. It was years later sitting in his living room. I was the sports editor at the Kaukauna Times when coach stepped down as football coach at KHS. But I remember that half hour conversation vividly. I remember asking him about what he’ll miss most. I remember tears falling from his eyes when he talked about his players. That’s what I’ll remember. That’s what made him great! Rest In Peace Coach!
