Even though our mom has been gone for over a year, our hearts still ache for ourselves, not for her. WE MISS HER SO MUCH!!!!!

Rev. Harvey & Nancy Kandler left a message on May 2, 2013:
Dear family of Vivian: We are grateful for the faithfulness to God and loving service to others that Vivian demonstrated. She and Norm were quite a team. They hardly ever missed Immanuel Prayer Circle, and after they went to Hawaii they brought home a birthday song that we still use today: "Happy Birthday to you, To Jesus be true, May God's special blessing now rest upon you." Those beautiful words remind us of what Vivian was--true to Jesus. She attended many fellowship functions, Women's Guild, at Immanuel and then helped Dennis clean the church. With dust cloth in hand she would sit on a chair by the mailboxes and say. "Pastor, is there anything you want done?" Right now I say, Vivian, join all the saints in glory....do your dusting for the Lord in heaven and may the Lord bless and keep you in His resurrection. Peace, The Rev. Harvey & Nancy Kandler, retired clergy, Immanuel UCC

Donna (Doering) Besaw left a message on May 2, 2013:
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Noreen, Dennis, Debbie, and Mary Ellen as they face the loss of their mother. As a child who grew up in the same neighborhood as the Meinert family, I remember Vivian as a mom who always seemed to have a happy disposition. She was the kind of person you enjoyed being around. Her presence will be missed but her legacy will live on in each of her dearly loved children. Treasure the memories.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

So enjoyed getting to know Vivian when she would help her son Dennis clean the church while I was practicing organ for the service. Such a sweet, friendly lady. She'll be missed Wendy Dearborn, Former Immanuel United Church of Christ Organist, Kaukauna and Pat Ware, my mother who also knew her
