Keaner Hennes left a message on April 6, 2009:
Dear Lisa and Les, I want to express my deepest sympathy to both of you. You have suffered a great loss, a loss felt also by many other people too who knew and loved Virg. I wanted to share my fondest memory of Virg that I have carried around now for the past 45 yrs. I was seven and my older brother and I were downtown shopping with our mother (Lola) late one night and we stopped at Virg's appartment for a visit. She teasingly asked my mother if she wanted a beer and we both giggled. She winked at us and said, "Your mother drinks beer" and then proceeded to hold my mother's head back and pour beer into her mouth. We thought she was a wild and crazy lady! We laughed all the way back home. My mother and I enjoyed that story many times over through out the years. My brothers and sisters all refered to Virg as the Chicklett Lady, she loaded us up with gum from the bank when she and Aunt Mamie would babysit us. Isn't it great to know how much others enjoyed your Mother Lisa? Virg is in all of our thoughts and prayers along with you too Les. ---With sympathy----Keaner Hennes
