Age 78, died on Saturday, October 6, 2001 at his home. Victor was born in Darboy on March 2, 1923, son of the late Alois and Theresa (Kronser) Bruex. He married Phyllis Kollath on February 25, 1977, and they have enjoyed over 24 years of marriage together. Victor was employed as a tow motor operator at Concrete Pipe for 35 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #265 and the VFW Post #2770. Victor will be greatly missed by his wife Phyllis; his brother, Norman (Cecile) Bruex, Kalamazoo, Michigan; his sister, Joan (Norbert) Schaefer, Darboy; and his sister-in-law, Monica Bruex. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers John and Robert Bruex. The Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 11, 2001, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 East Fremont Street, Appleton, with Father Robert Karuhn officiating. Friends will be received at the church following the Mass.
