James Conrad left a message on April 6, 2009:
My deepest sympathy's go out to all who knew and loved this beautiful man. I only saw him angry once through 7 years of Bethlehem Lutheran grade school and it was to help a younger kid being picked on. In fact, that kindness runs through all the clan as his cousin Susan impressed upon me....I sat behind her in grade school and she was my first ever date. My days at that church and school, knowing that family are some of the best years of my life. I know we will all greet each other warmly in heaven some day. Meanwhile, my prayers for all for strength and peace through the Holy Spirit through the months ahead. Jim Conrad & family Simi Valley, CA

Annette, Here is a great big hug for you, I too wish I could be there to give it to you in person. Even though I only really met Vern just once I could see how special he is to you. My heart goes out to you and all the family but as we know he is sleeping now and you all will be with him again when Jesus comes for his people. Take "One day at a time" and things will be ok. Love, Char
