Age 77, died Friday, May 11, 2001. She was born March 31, 1924 to the late George and Irene (Reese) Haber Sr. in Neenah. Velma married the late Donald ''Tuffy'' Hoks on September 1, 1943 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Carl) Tobey and Jan (Dave) Olson; one son, Thomas (Lynn) Hoks; four grandsons, John (Karen) Hanamann III, Erik (KerryJo) Olson, Mike Hoks and Ryan Olson; two granddaughters, Lisa Hartjes and Jody Hoks; four great grandchildren, Erica Hartjes, Leanne Hartjes, Rebecca Hartjes and Cody Olson; and a brother, George (Lorraine) Haber Jr.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Donald Olson and a sister Kathleen Reinhart.

The Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Monday May 14, 2001 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME Tri County Chapel, 3212 South Oneida Street, Menasha with Pastor Jeffrey Suhr officiating. Friends and family may call directly at the Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Affinity Hospice.
