Tina M. Stephanie

October 18, 1969 — August 3, 2020

Tina Marie (Julka) Stephanie, 50, of Oshkosh, passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on Monday, August 3, 2020, at home with her loving husband Gerard by her side, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born October 18, 1969 in Fond du Lac, to Arlyn and Patty (Schmitz) Julka. She graduated from New Holstein High School in 1988 and went on to graduate from Martin School of Hair Design. On November 30, 1991, Tina married her high school sweetheart, Gerard Stephanie.  Together, they brought two amazing, beautiful children into this world, Joshua and Olivia, their pride and joy. As they built their family together, they were always surrounded by her close family nearby. Every holiday, birthday, special event brought them together often for a house full of laughter and food.

Anyone who knew Tina knew how much she loved being around people, especially her family.  She lovingly treated everyone with kindness and was a great listener. She had a beautiful smile with dimples and always had a way of making you feel like you were loved, cared about and important when she talked to you. Her pure heart, peaceful nature and kind soul were comforting to be around. She counseled many of her family members and clients over the years while they relaxed in her salon chair. During her courageous and graceful journey, the past couple years, she fought the battle with a positive outlook and never once complained. She will always be in the hearts and minds of those who loved her and is already dearly missed.

Tina is survived by her husband Gerard, their loving children, Joshua and Olivia, parents Arlyn and Patty Julka of Johnsburg, sister Deb (Mike) Teske and children Carlee, Cameron, Trevor of De Pere, brother Steve (Heather) Julka and children Sawyer, Campbell and Crosby of Fond du Lac, brother Dan (Susie) Julka and children Jack and Lily of Franklin, father-in-law Lester Stephanie of Fond du Lac, sister-in-law Barb Lemke and children Anna and Abbey of Sussex, brother-in-law Tom (Kim) Stephanie and children Brittany, David Brandon, Tiffany and Benjamin of Washington, IA, and sister-in-law Colleen (Mitch) Posthuma and children Keith and Kylie of North Fond du Lac, as well as many amazing aunts and uncles, cousins, other family members, god-children and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wilmer and Irma Julka, her maternal grandparents, Alvin and Martina Schmitz, mother-in-law Betty Stephanie, Uncle Merle Julka and Joe Schmitz, as well as special cousins, Nathan, Kyle and Lucas Hemauer.
