Jason Zabokrtsky left a message on October 24, 2019:
I'm a friend of Tim's from his time at Wintergreen Dogsled Lodge. I worked as a guide there for many years and enjoyed time working, hanging out, and laughing with Tim. He always had a smile and cheerful demeanor, and he was a joy to be around.

I referred to him as Wintergreen's master dogsled builder. He brought an engineer's mind, an artist's eye, and a dogsledder's experience to his time perfecting dogsled construction.

I am so thankful to have been able to spend time with Tim on his recent trip to Ely. It was special and we had lunch, I showed him around my shop, and we had a nice opportunity to chat.

Tim touched a lot of people with his kindness and I feel extraordinarily fortunate to consider him a friend. My deepest sympathies go out to Tim's family and friends.

Rest in Peace, Tim!
