Timothy J. Wiese

Tim Wiese, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, August 20, 2011. He was born in Oshkosh on April 4, 1962, the son of Peter Wiese and Anita Rescheske Wiese Bruun. Tim was a 1980 graduate of Neenah High School, and received his bachelor's degree in cartography from the University of Oshkosh where he was also a member of the ROTC. After college, he entered the United States Army and served at various stations around the country for over five years. During that time, he married the former Julie DeBaere in Neenah on March 8, 1986. Their marriage was blessed with three wonderful daughters. Over the years, Tim worked in sales, with his last six years having been employed by J.J. Keller. There he also served as an in-house first responder. He was a faithful member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton where he volunteered on confirmation retreats. Tim also enjoyed hunting, fishing, weekly bonfires with friends and family, walking his dogs, and was a devoted fan of the Packers and the Brewers.

He is survived by his mother: Anita (John) Bruun of Fremont; his father: Peter (Joan) Wiese of Shoto; his wife: Julie Wiese of Appleton; three daughters: Shannon Wiese and her boyfriend Brian Ausloos; Haley Wiese and her boyfriend Matt Schneider; and Kelsey Wiese, all of Appleton; five brothers and sisters: Robert Wiese of Shiocton; Andrew (Dawn) Wiese of Greenville; Bill (Jolyn) Wiese of Grand Chute; Dawn (Spiro) Pantazis of Chicago; and Amy Wiese and her boyfriend Marty Johnson of Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law: Dawn (John) Hayes of Greenville and Tammy (Russ) Easton of Neenah; and his father-in-law: Doug (Jeannie) DeBaere of Neenah. Tim was preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Donna DeBaere.

The funeral liturgy for Tim will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 E. Lourdes Drive in Appleton, with Fr. Donald Zuleger officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
