Tim Doyle

November 23, 1968 — January 27, 2013

Tim E. Doyle, 44, of Appleton, passed away at home on January 27, 2013 surrounded by his loving family after a dignified and courageous battle against cancer.

Tim was born in Kaukauna, Wisconsin on November 23, 1968, the son of Ronald Poleshinski and Patricia (Kloehn) Poleshinski Doyle. He was a 1987 graduate of Kimberly High School and attended University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He then enlisted and proudly served four years in the United States Navy. He was an Operations Specialist second class petty officer aboard the USS Nicholson (DD-982).

By trade, Tim was a master plumber. Hunting and fishing, Crimson Tide football, and NASCAR were just a few of his interests. Tim excelled at any building project whether big or small. He was the person we all wanted to pick our name in our annual Make-a-gift Christmas exchange. Tim could fix anything, but, unfortunately, he could not fix his body.

Tim's passing leaves a gaping hole in our family. He will be sadly missed by his son, Brady of Hixson, TN; parents, Patricia and Thomas Doyle; brother, Patrick (Staci) Doyle of Appleton; sister, Kristin (Brad) Van Schyndel of Little Chute; step-brother, Marcus (Dorothy) Doyle of East Hartford, CT; special friend, Janice Winslow of Appleton; six nieces and two nephews, Lauren, Quinn, Kate (goddaughter), and Maya Van Schyndel; Sophie, Bella, and Connor (godson) Doyle; Henry Doyle; and his two fur-sisters, Lisa and Wednesday “Winnie”. He is further survived by his Uncle and godfather, Gary “Butch” Kloehn, Aunt and godmother, Mary Oudenhoven, several cousins, and many, many friends.

Funeral services will be held at WICHMANN TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 3212 S. Oneida Street, Appleton on Thursday, January 31, 2013. Family and friends may call after 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A short funeral service at the funeral home will follow. In loving remembrance, the family would like to invite all in attendance to wear orange to honor Tim.

Tim's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kevin Mortara and Patricia Martins, APNP, of Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology, along with Erin Kaskavitch, RN, and Jill Cisar, SW, and their team with Theda Care Hospice. All were professional, approachable, knowledgeable, and exceptional in their compassionate care of Tim.

I stare backward at my world that no longer exists, and I stare forward at my world which is beyond my comprehension. I miss you already…love you, Mom
