I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Tierney. I first met her when she was applying at Appleton Papers in Combined Locks, and after she was hired we became fast friends. I lost contact for many years when I relocated out of state, but a number of years ago we reconnected and she came to visit in CO. We rented a Yert in the Never Summer Range mountains and had the best time. I had to escort her at night so the bears would not get her since she had a huge fear of them. I had since only kept in loose touch with her as I moved a few times. She touched my life in so may ways and has an will remain in my heart. The world has lost a wonderful person. Hope she is out running with Maggie again!

Sending our deepest sympathy to the Ries family for the loss of Tierney! We are so sad that we did not hear out about this sooner so we could attend the service for Tierney. God Bless you all and my Tierney's sole rest in peace! Our love to all of you! Roger and Geri Kuczer
Tierney Casey left a message on December 30, 2011:
Tierney used to say that I was Tierney "Two", and she was Tierney "One" because she is just a little older than me. With such unusual names we gravitated toward each other and became good friends in high school. She will remembered for her laugh and how she found humor throughout her life. One day we will see Tierney again when the Lord returns and she will be whole and free. Love and prayers to the family at this time.

I was Tierney's Dental Hygienist. Although treating her was not without difficulty due to her large rolling bed, I was greatful to be able to provide her with care and compassion. She was very kind and appreciative. We saw her struggles and I just know she is up there doing cartwheels right now. God Bless

To Tierney's family, she often spoke about all of you especially Alex. Tierney's journey was a mixture of joy and sadness, and I am sure this last few years was not always easy for her or for you as her family. I will forever have my Johnny Depp doll that Tierney gave me, and the memory of her and I going to Oshkosh to watch the filming of Public Enemies. When I watch the movie I can see the scene we saw being filmed, right after her infamous tatoo. May she rest in peace sorrounded by heaven's angels and a stray dog or two. Wishing you all a heartfelt blessing at this turn of the road for all of you.
