Teresa Ann White

Teresa Ann White, age 88, of Appleton, passed away on Wednesday August 4, 2021.  Teresa was born on February 10, 1933 in Manawa, WI to the late Frank and Marie (Rebman) Loughrin.  She was a 1951 graduate of Manawa High School.  Teresa was joined in marriage to Robert “Bob” White on February 11, 1956, in Lebanon, and they shared 57 years together.  Teresa was employed for 21 years at Integrity Mutual Insurance and retired in 1996.  Teresa was an avid golfer and was well known for her hole in one at the Reed Municipal Golf Course on a Par 3, 103-yard 17^th hole at the a young age of 76 years.  Teresa also enjoyed cribbage and traveling but was most proud of being with her family and attending the events of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She was very proud of their achievements.

Teresa is survived by her children; Michelle (Jeff) Kamps, Tim (Sharon) White, Jeff (Fiona) White, Tom (Cori) White, and Connie (Keith) School; her grandchildren: Justin (Jenny) Kamps, Trisha (Tom) Castle, Brittany (Cole) Navis and Chelsea Kamps; Steve and Kristina White; Abbey, Nicola and Robbie White; Avery and Campbell White; and Adam, Courtney, and Amanda (Pete Buyeske) School; her great grandchildren, Lily, Ben, Maria, Vanessa, Connor, Aliya, Jameson, Arianna, Aiken and Nola; and her sister Mary (Bob) Conroy.  Teresa is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Teresa is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert, brother Jim and wife Elaine Loughrin, and many in-laws.

The Funeral Liturgy for Teresa will be held on Monday August 16th at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 N. McDonald Street with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of services.  There will be additional visitation for Teresa at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, on Sunday August 15^th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Foundation Association in Teresa’s name are appreciated.

Teresa’s family would like to thank the staff at Compassus Hospice, the staff at Aspire Memory Care, and a special thank you to Aspire Memory Care nursing director Katie and administrator Heidi.  In addition, thank you Debbie for making our mother’s hair beautiful.
