My son had Ms. Vervoort for pre-k years ago, and I can't begin to say in words how great of a teacher she was. He is now a Junior and I can't think how his experience of starting school could have been any better for him, or any other of the sudents she had in the past. She will truly be missed, and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Miss VerVoort will be sadly missed. I was thinking back to the first time I told my son she was his teacher. He said Mom she is so mean and yells all the time. I asked him to give her a chance and he agreed. We met with her and I mentioned my sons concerns. Her and Blake came to an agreement and he had a great year. He loved her as a teacher and considered her a friend. So much so he had her as a friend on facebook. To Tammy's family Thank You so very much for such a wonderful teacher and person. She will be missed and anyone who has ever met her is a very lucky person. God bless you all.

Tammy was my sons kindergarten and second grade teacher at Nicolet School. My son had many issues adapting to school and learning to socialize with others. Miss V was the only teacher who took the time to work with him. Most didn't want to take extra time or effort into helping him, but she always did. She was the best teacher he ever had in elementary school and I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was looking forward to conferences this year to thank Miss VerVoort for taking my son, Dustin, under her wing and making him feel very welcome and special to a new school during a difficult time in his life. Instead now, I am thanking her family for having a wonderful daughter that really touched the life of a little boy that really needed her kindness. She made this the ONLY year that he really enjoyed going to school every day and I know she will be greatly missed.

Tammy was special to my daughter and to my family. She always made us feel welcome in her classroom. My daughter has health issues and hated feeling "different". Tammy told her how she felt the same way sometimes. Emily also struggles with Math. Tammy shared with her that Math was not her favorite subject either and came up with fun ways to study. Tammy shared her love of books with my daughter. They were always excited on book order days to see all the new arrivals. Tammy was so sweet and such a loving person. She came from Nicolet school when it closed, but immediately made Park school her home. Emily was lucky enough to have Miss V. for 2nd and 3rd grade. We were all lucky to know her. We will truly miss seeing her smiling face, sharing in her excitement for teaching and love for children

Miss VerVoort meant alot to me because she helped me with Math when I had trouble. I loved reading books with her. She was my favorite teacher. I got to be in her class for second and third grades. She didn't want me to go on to fourth grade because she would miss me. I still got to say Hi to her everyday. We even wrote letters to eachother over the summer. I will miss talking to her.

Our thoughts, prayers, and love go out to Darlene, Dave, DJ, and the rest of the family. Tammy was a beautiful young woman whose soul shined so brightly. Her love for children and animals was inspiring. My three children (Parker, Adasen, and Ida) remember visiting Tammy and seeing all of her cool Elvis memorabilia. The girls loved that Tammy allowed them to play dress up and have a fashion show in her basement. I (Lisa) enjoyed spending time with Tammy during our training at CTR. We had some good conversations and we both laughed a lot. Tammy is no longer suffering. She is with her Lord and Savior smiling down on everyone. We will miss her!!!

Our son Joseph Petit was a student of Tammy's for 2 years. (2nd and 3rd gr) He thought of her as his favorite as did his father and I. Your daughter was a wonderful woman and teacher. I made special snacks for conferences so I knew she had something to eat and special treats for Joey's birthday so she could enjoy them also. She will be deeply missed by us all; but mostly by Joey. She always said she wanted to scoop him up and take him home with her. Your daughter will be a fond memory of our for a long, long time. God Bless you all! Anna & Brian Peterson Joey Petit
