Mark & Karen Ebben left a message on April 26, 2012:
Maureen, Barb, Dave, Kathy & Janet: So sorry to hear about your loss. Mouse was always a kind, faithful and funny man. He always made us feel welcome at your house. I am grateful that Mouse & Maureen were such good friends of my parents. We're so fortunate to have grown up on Jackson St. and have a neighbor like him. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Mouse was "Mr. Volleyball" and the "Lake Alpine Activities Coordinator" for many years. Always with a smile and quick with a laugh. And the stories he told, one about his motorcycle days I liked to hear. Stationed at White Sands NM, he had his dad crate up his Harley and ship it out there. Word got around that this army guy had a pretty fast bike and on Sundays after church ate breakfast at this little diner. Like an old western story, other bikers would come in there looking for him. "I hear you got a pretty fast bike?" Mouse replies, "Just let me finish my cup of coffee and we'll find out!" That was Mouse.

God blessed Uncle Mouse with a long and happy life. Will always remember that big smile, great laugh and the many weddings where he danced all night. God and his family were always first in his life. Uncle Mouse - I hope by now you're doing the Jitterbug with my Mom - She's been waiting a long time. RIP

Dave, I am very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember that big smile on your Dad's face whenever I saw him and his positive attitude. I also remember him on the sideline of our Freshman football games and he always had an encouraging word for each of us. Know you're in my thoughts and prayers.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
TODD BETHE left a message on April 24, 2012:
RIP Uncle Mouse you certainly will be missed. It was always good to see the smile on your face. I always enjoyed the hug or handshake that came along when you stopped over to grandma's to visit. Hope eternal life treats you as well as the life you lived on earth. Todd Bethe

So sorry to hear of the loss of 'Uncle Mouse.' So many good memories-mostly of the family weddings and dancing, and Christmas visits at grandma's house. To a man that truly lived life to the fullest, may you have many dances up in heaven.
