VANEVENHOVEN, SUSANN J.

Susann Vanevenhoven, of Kaukauna, age 90 years, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at Parkside Care Center. She was born March 31, 1916 in Kimberly, the daughter of the late John and Minnie (Rietvelt) Van Lieshout. Susann married Lester “Chuck” Vanevenhoven on September 5, 1938 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Susann loved fishing, hunting and spending time at the cottage. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Many will remember Susann as the “greeter” at Parkside Care Center.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Scagnelli of Atlanta, Georgia and her sister-in-law Ceil Van Daalwyk of Appleton. Susann is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters: Catherine Van Vonderen and Harriet “Hattie” (Marty) De Coster and 2 brothers: Joseph “Choc” (Charlotte) Van Daalwyk and Jacob “Toby” Van Daalwyk and her brother-in-law James Scagnelli.

The funeral service will be held at 4:30 pm on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at FARGO FUNERAL HOME with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will be at the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:30 pm until the time of service.
