Sue Vanden Boogard, age 59 of Little Chute, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016, following a very brief illness. Sue was born in Shawano on November 12, 1956, daughter of the late Gerald and Patsy (Berndt) Childs. In 1975, Sue graduated from Kaukauna High School, and later married Butch Vanden Boogard at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna in 1976. For nearly forty years, Sue was employed at the Outagamie County Courthouse. She loved her work in the office of Volunteer and Offender Services. She also loved shopping with friends and family, dining out, the occasional vacation, and the joy of the Christmas season.

Sue is survived by her husband: Butch Vanden Boogard of Little Chute; a son: Andy Vanden Boogard of Little Chute; two sisters: Nancy (John) Stenzel of Wrightstown and Sally Childs of Kaukauna; a brother: Jerry Childs of Kaukauna; and four sisters-in-law: Kathie Vanden Boogard of Combined Locks; Jean (Bob) Hoeppner of Wild Rose; Luanne Zarnoth of Maple Creek; and Julie (Paul) Weiss of Menasha. There are also many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws: Harry and Gladys Vanden Boogard; an infant brother: James Childs; and a brother-law: Mike Zarnoth.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the French Quarter inside Good Company restaurant in downtown Appleton from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2016. All are welcome to stop by and share a memory of Sue.
