Susan J. Ziemann

June 20, 1952 — March 23, 2018

Sue Ziemann, age 65, was called home on Friday, March 23, 2018, following a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis. Sue was born in Suring on June 20, 1952, daughter of the late Walter and Laverna (Ruege) Adam. In October of 1984, she married Patrick Ziemann. Together, the couple shared thirty-three years together. For many years, Sue was employed as an accountant by AAL / Thrivent, and worked there until her health failed. In her earlier years when health permitted, Sue loved to be outside, and especially enjoyed camping. More than anything, she will be remembered by all as a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband: Patrick; four children: Stephanie (Dylan), William (Erin), Lori (Andrew), and Joshua; seven grandchildren: Addison, Parker, Josie, Adam, Tony, Renatta, and Ethan. Sue also leaves behind two sisters: Judith (Dick) and Randae (Arnie); and in-laws Kristi and Mike (Cheryl).

A memorial service for Sue will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street in Appleton, with Rev. Dennis Belter of Riverview Lutheran Church officiating. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
