Susan A. “Sue” Lynch (Recker)
Sue Lynch, age 61, of Greenville, went to Heaven where she will be enjoying everlasting life on Monday, October 1, 2012. She was born on September 6, 1951 in Appleton, the daughter of Mark and the late Antonette “Nettie” (Hubers) Recker. On October 2, 1971, Sue married Patrick Lynch at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton. She leaves a legacy behind in a loving husband, two sons and daughters-in-law, her father, sisters, brother and two precious grandsons that she loved so deeply.

Sue made a lifetime commitment to helping others and dedicating herself to assisting those in need. Her numerous contributions include; job coaching at the Sheltered Activities Center, coaching sports and being the Area Director of Special Olympics for almost 20 years, marketing and fundraising for The ARC Fox Cities, volunteering for Appleton Rotary, bell ringing and Christmas gifts for the Salvation Army, baking desserts for the St. Elizabeth Hospital Love Lights Program, and assisting with Christmas meals wherever needed.

Sue brought happiness into all of the lives that she touched. Her family and friends are all proud to know her and will forever miss her gentle touch and kind heart. Her grandchildren will miss the sleepover party coordinator and how she always had the best snacks and treats.

She is survived by her husband, Pat Lynch; sons: Brian (Ann) Lynch and Jon (Tara) Lynch; grandsons: Mark and Sawyer Lynch; father, Mark Recker; brother, Mike Recker; sisters: Chris (Jerry) Herzog and Barb (Dave) Becker. Sue is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

The funeral liturgy for Sue will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, October 8, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette Street in Appleton. Fr. Thomas J. Farrell will be officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday at the Wichmann Tri-County Chapel from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until 11:15 am. A prayer service will be also held at 7:00 pm on Sunday with Rev. Brian W. Cain. Online condolences can be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

Mom, go to Heaven to be with your mother, mother and father-in-law, grandparents, and all those who have passed before you. We will always love you Mom and promise to someday see you again. Thank you for always being there with never ending love and support for everyone. You will be missed! God Bless!
