August 24, 1942 — June 12, 2014

Sue Garcia (Richmond), age 71, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Sue was born on August 24, 1942, daughter of the late Karel and Dorothy (Hanson) Richmond. She loved collecting butterflies and cardinal knick knacks, playing cards, Elvis Presley and driving around in her classic convertible. Sue was also an avid sports fan, enjoying the Green Bay Packers, Nascar and horse races. Above all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family including her grand dogs.

Sue is survived by her three children: Amy (Vern) Thompson, Guy (Lisa) Bodde, and Amy (Dave) Thayer; her grandchildren: Kimberly (Shane) Caskey, Nick (Miranda) Walvort, and Samantha Walvort; her great grandchildren: Breyton Thayer, and Jamison Caskey; her sister: Joanne Bogenschutz; and her best friend Judy Bartz.
