To the Dorn family, from little Jonny in his diapers. I just heard about Steves passing(dealing with my own passing of my father on Feb. 16th). I just wanted to offer my condolences. It was great fun growing up next to the family across the street, we had a lot of fun back in the day. I never got my cheecks pinched more than Deloris could ever do it. Just wished Don would have taught me to golf at that age, I could have been the(before Tiger Woods) guy. Thanks for all the childhood memories.

I'm saddened to hear about Steve. I am a Xavier classmate of Steve and have very fond memories of Steve from those days -- he was a funny, engaging guy who had a ready smile and had an excellent sense of what made people tick, even though we were all struggling with our adolescence at the time. I am sorry that he left this world so soon, but know that he left the world a better place than he found it.

I was saddened to hear of Steve's passing today from another Xavier classmate. What a gentle, kind, fun soul Steve had! He touched so many lives in so many different ways throughout our years at XHS and beyond. His obituary is a very nice testiment to his life and the mark he left on the world. I hope his legacy lives on for years to come. My sympathies, Larry, to you and your whole family. Sincerely, Lisa (Ulmen) Roach Xavier High School Class of 1981
