Steven J. Bruecker, age 49, formerly of Kaukauna, passed away Friday morning, August 15, 2008, at Rolling Meadows, Fond du Lac. He was born September 20, 1958 to Philip and Geraldine (Mason) Bruecker, in Kaukauna. Steven enjoyed nature, bicycling, automobiles and mechanical challenges. He is survived by his father, Philip (Joyce) Bruecker, Kaukauna; 4 brothers and 6 sisters, Richard (Diane) Bruecker, MN; Jane (Terry) Peebles, Kaukauna; Patricia (Dan) Garcia, Kaukauna; Laura (Robert) Swanningson, Kaukauna; David Bruecker, Kaukauna; Edward Bruecker and his fiancée, Jackie, Appleton; Paula (Randy) Malueg, Appleton; April (Jamie) Brudwick, Kaukauna; Sally (Scott) Coghlan, Menasha; Kenneth Bruecker, Milwaukee; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Bruecker, in 1999. Private family services were held. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Hollandtown.
