Steve Snow, age 59, peacefully went Home early on Saturday morning, April 13th, 2013. He courageously fought cancer for 7-1/2 years. Dear Sandi and Snow family, It is so difficult as humans to let go of our loved ones and Steve was truly a loved person. He spread it thru his life and to everyone whose life he touched. Steve was such a great inspiration to my sister when I took her for her chemo treatments. He was a gentleman and a gentle man. I hope that when my son gets out of the hospital after 31/2 months, Brian will be able to live his life as fully as Steve. " What a friend we have in Jesus" and what a friend we had in Steve. I can just imagine with a smile on my face what he's doing above and yet I know he'll be watching over you Sandi. -Mary, Bill, and Brian Nackers

I first met Steve back back in the early 1980's. I learned he worked at the Railroad. I have a nephew that has "special needs" and Steve set up a ride for him on one of the trains. It was just a short ride but Christopher never forgot it. Christopher has gone through many life-altering events, including major brain surgery, but he still remembers, and talks about, "Steve Snow" and that train ride to this day. Christopher will be 33 years old in June. Steve obviously left a life-long impression in this young mans life.....Our deepest sympathy in the loss of this compassionate human being. He will be greatly missed....

Sandi, I work at FVCA and was amazed at how often Steve would come in and help serve lunch. The kids loved him and he was so cheerful! Praying for your family. Cathy Van Hammond
