Stephen M. Vander Loop

Steve Vander Loop, age 77, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton on Thursday, September 22, 2011. Steve was born in Freedom on September 8, 1934, son of the late William and Rose (Williamson) Vander Loop. Steve was a graduate of the Kimberly High School and worked as a custodian in the school district for many years. He also operated Steve’s Lawn Service. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially Green Bay Packer football.

Steve is survived by two children: Mark Vander Loop of Kimberly and Ann (Kevin) Pawlacyk of Larsen; three grandchildren: Katie, Matthew, and Ben; and his former wife: Joan Vander Loop of Kimberly.

A memorial funeral liturgy for Steve will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Inurnment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 PM until the hour of the service.
