Before I retired I was the Public Information Officer for the Appleton Police Department. I had the honor several times to be invited to the Industrial Security Dinners by Stan. He was such a gracious host and always seemed to be as proud of having my wife and I there as we were to be there. He was a remarkable man who certainly left his mark in this life. He is on to new challenges. God Bless Him.

Mary and Gail, I wish I could be there. We will all miss Uncle Stan. I'm sure your mom and dad are up there right now with my brother Mike, talking about old times. Someday we will all be together again. Please let me know if you need anything. Love, Mark Spehar
