Shirley Virginia Moe

Shirley Virginia Moe, age 87, of Appleton, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 23, 2016. She was born on February 12, 1929, in Warrensburg, Missouri. Shirley married John D. Moe, Sr., on October 22, 1949; he preceded her in death in 1987. She had been employed by Outlook Graphics in Menasha for many years.

Survivors include her sisters, Sister Maria Wilson, St. Paul, Minnesota; Catherine Dickinson, Wausau, Wisconsin; and Helen (Jerome) Eckrich, Aberdeen, South Dakota; her children, Gynny (Jim) O'Hara, and children, Andrew and Michael; John (Kristine) Moe Jr. and their daughter, Sophia; KaraLynne (Arthur) Moore and her son, Eric; Peter (Kathy) Moe, and their children, Katrina, Dallas, Scott and Seth; Bruce (Christine) Moe, and their daughter Dylan; Jacqueline Moe and her children Lucas and Wilson; Jennifer (Gerard) Ananda; and their children, Christian and Celestine; and Meredith Sutton; her great grandchildren Ender, Evelyn, and Brynn; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Moe. She was preceded in death by her son, Marc Moe and her sister, Sister Mary Joseph Wilson.

Memorial services for Shirley will be at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME—TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha, with Deacon Moore officiating. Shirley was a wonderful mother who taught her children the virtues of sacrifice and hard work.
