Sheila K. Aniol

October 7, 1952 — July 18, 2005

Age 52, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on Monday, July 18, 2005, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Sheila was born in North Dakota on October 7, 1952, daughter of the late Art Hanson and Ethel (Erickson) Hanson Jespersen who lives in North Dakota. Sheila grew up in Bowbells, North Dakota and graduated from Bowbells High School in 1971. She married Jim Aniol on April 29, 1972 and resided for a time in Bowbells. After their first child was born, the family moved to Wisconsin where they raised their five children. Up until her death, Sheila worked at the Aurora Health Center in Kaukauna. She loved gardening, sewing, baking, fishing and spending time at the cabin. Sheila was wonderful with the children, and spent much time with her grandchildren, family, and other friends. Sheila was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in July of 1974, and had a strong faith in the Bible and in the resurrection hope.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-three years: Jim Aniol of Kaukauna; her mother: Ethel Hanson Jespersen of North Dakota; five children: Jennifer (Joel) Wilke, Jackie (Tom) Hatton, Jamie Aniol, Jason Aniol, and Jared Aniol; seven grandchildren: Megan and Logan Wilke, Austin and Holly Hatton, Taylor and Tanner VanDera, and Taylor Lenz; four sisters: Shirley (Allan) Klein, Mary (Kevin) Hellman, Monica (Brad) Kjos, and Jane (Alan) Peterson; a brother: Jeff (Roxanne) Hanson; a sister-in-law: Gail (Tim) Bryant; a brother-in-law: Michael (Debie) Aniol; as well as twenty-four nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Art Hanson.

In keeping with Sheila’s wishes, there will be no visitation, but all are welcome to attend the memorial service, which will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 6:00 PM at the KINGDOM HALL OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES, 2909 Roemer Road in Appleton, with Steve Verhagen officiating.
