Sharon Johnson, 70, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at University Hospital in Madison.

Sharon was born on November 15, 1941 to Roger and Grace (Wenzloff) Van Ryzin in Appleton. Sharon married Norbert Johnson on May 26, 1965. She liked traveling, reading and collecting Betty Boop memorabilia. Family was the most important thing to Sharon and the time she spent with her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren will always be treasured. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Menasha.

Sharon is survived by her husband Norbert, one son Joel (Sarah) Johnson, Stockbridge, two grandsons; Cadon and Gavin Johnson, two brothers; Roger (Kathy) Van Ryzin, and David (June) Van Ryzin, a sister Dori (Alan) Bergholtz, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The memorial service for Sharon will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri County Chapel, with Rev David Skarsten officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
