Shannon Lee Hough, age 32, of Little Chute, died unexpectedly as the result of a motorcycle accident, Saturday evening, July 5, 2008. She was born May 14, 1976, to Harlan C. and Vicki L. (Schopp) Hough, in Milwaukee and grew up in the Appleton area. Shannon graduated from Menasha High School and served with the U. S. Army and was presently a Reservist. Survivors include her parents, Harlan C. (Brenda) Hough, Appleton; Vicki L. Hough, Appleton; two brothers, Edward Hough and his special friend, Nichole Polster, Neenah; Robert Hough, Appleton; her fiancé, Frank Moore II and his parents, Franklin and Susan Moore; two nephews, Caleb and Max Hough; her grandmother, Delores Schopp; aunts and uncles, Karlyn Rothe, Cheri (Mark), Gary Hough, Doug Andrews, Bobbi (Pat) McCoy, Jeffrey (Christine) Schopp, Randy (Sandy) Schopp, special uncle, Joseph Schopp, Tim Schopp and special friend, Diane Wiechman; and many cousins. Also surviving are special friends, Sarah, Mandy, Mike, Don, Dan, Josh, Jim and Pam Hart and Jim and Kim Kucksdorf. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Delores Schmittinger and Athol Hough and her maternal grandfather, Edward Schopp. A memorial gathering for Shannon will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at the funeral home from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A memorial fund is being established for injured veterans.
