Sarah and I shared so many wonderful times growing up together. When spending time with Sarah she loved to reminisce and talk about special memories she had being a teacher and talk about high school days and then even going as far back as grade school. One special memory going back to grade school was the day where the school bus came very late. And it just so happened that it snowed quite heavily the night before. I’m not sure who threw the first snow ball but all the kids at the bus stop got into a huge snowball fight. We had the most fun ever waiting for the bus but we were really soaked. When we got to school I recall the home room teacher was not at all happy but we had smiles on our faces. We grew up being only one house a part in our neighborhood so we spent lots of time after school together as well. Especially in the Summer where there was a Park n Rec right in back of her house. We would participate in the watermelon spitting contest, the bubble gum blowing contest, stilt walking, playing softball etc. as well as playing kick the can, red light green light and others with the neighborhood kids. So many great memories. What I loved about Sarah was her positive attitude and she always had a smile on her face. She was a joy to be with. She will be forever missed. Love you Sarah! To the family: please accept our heartfelt condolences.

Sarah and I attended Marian College in Fond du Lac together. Even though she left that school on a sour note, I was lucky to have met her there and we had a lot of good memories from that period of time. I know she suffered a lot with her health issues but she will be remembered fondly by the group of Marian students she hung around with. So sorry for your loss.
