Age 77, passed away at Appleton Medical Center on Tuesday, December 27, 2005, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Appleton on February 16, 1928, daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Horn) Treiber. In 1950 she married Jack Meiers in Appleton. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage. Sally enjoyed playing golf at the Ridgeway Golf Club, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Sally is survived by her husband, Jack; children: Bruce (Patti) Meiers of Appleton and their children, Nick and Becky and Tom (Brenda) Meiers of Appleton and their children, Brittany and Jonathan. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

A private funeral service was held with Fr. Tom Farrell officiating. A memorial fund is being established and donations can be made directly to the American Lung Association of Wisconsin, 13100 West Lisbon Road, Suite 700, Brookfield, WI 53005.

The family extends a special thank you to Pam Grinbergs for her compassionate care of Sally.
