Ruth Helen Hawkinson

Ruth Helen Hawkinson, 97, passed away on January 12, 2022. She was born on December 12, 1924, to Louis and Marie Sawall. She graduated from Menasha High School.

Ruth was a very sociable person, and was always making friends. She spent her time at the Menasha Senior Center, playing games and socializing, and watching game shows at home. She had a passion for her home garden.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Marie Sawall; son, Peter Hawkinson; and brothers, William Sawall, and Theodore Sawall.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Marvin) Roberts, and Rose Fischer; grandchildren, Kimm Schaut, Cody Hickey, Clint Vandenberg, Gary Vandenberg, Nathan Younger, and Jarrod Trombley; special friend, Tom Steffens; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Ruth will be watching over everyone from heaven.
