MADER, RUTH G.

Ruth Mader, of Appleton, age 85 years, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. She was born May 22, 1921 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Karl and Elsa (Oesterrich) Bauernfeind.

Ruth was survived by her sons: Tom (Nancy) Mader, Appleton and Jim (Priscilla) Mader, Steamboat Springs, Colorado; daughters: Nancy (Robert) Lidwin, Waukesha and Kim (Gary) Kilishek, Menasha; grandchildren: Tim (Heather Peterson) Baldwin, Heather (Jack) Weast, Caterina Mader, Jessica Mader, Will Lidwin and Paul Lidwin; great grandchildren: Hailey and Colin; special nephew: Dennis Schnell. Special thank you to Helen Bayer, a true friend. She was preceded in death by a sister Lois Schnell, brother-in-law Arlin “Bud” Schnell and son-in-law Michael Baldwin.

In respect to our mother’s wishes, there will be a private family visitation. She will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Osteoporosis Foundation, Wisconsin Chapter.

Sincere gratitude to the staff of Cherry Meadows Hospice for giving our mother their kindness, care and concern.
