Ruth E. Krueger

Ruth E. Krueger, age 96, of Neenah, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015. She was born on June 25, 1919 in Black Creek, Wisconsin to the late Edward and Alma (Genke) Schmidt. Ruth married the love of her life Kenneth H. Krueger and together they were blessed with their son Tom. Kenneth preceded her in death on January 25, 1978.
She was employed with Hamilton's Bakery and later with Simple Simon's Bakery as a bakery order clerk for over twenty years before her retirement in 1999.
Ruth enjoyed bowling and was a part of many couple's leagues with her husband and friends. She was always ready for a game of Sheepshead or Smear. Ruth also loved to explore new places with her friends and their travels where some of her fondest memories.
She is survived by her son, Tom (MaryLynn) Krueger; many nieces and nephews and her special life-long friend, Phyllis Brown and dear friend Carol Henke.
In addition to her parents Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her brothers, Roy and Glen and her sister-in-law, Bernice Beyer.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December, 15, 2015 starting at 4:00 pm at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior Street. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday starting at 2:00 pm until the funeral service at 4:00 pm with Deacon Rick Simon officiating. Interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park.
