Ruth Ann Krueger

July 6, 1942 — September 15, 2016

Ruth Ann Krueger 74 of Shiocton passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 15, 2016. She was born to the late Erick and Margret (Larson) Piechocki on July 6, 1942. She graduated from Shiocton High School in 1959. She married Thomas Krueger on Sept 16, 1967 they were married for 37 years when he passed in December 20, 2004. Ruth worked for the Outagamie County Bank as a teller for 44 years which is now called Wells Fargo. She loved gardening, flowers, birds, shopping, visiting her friends which she cherished but most of all her heart was most filled when she was with her grandchildren and family. She had a heart of gold and would always put others first. She worked at the Dale food pantry every Wednesday after retirement.

She is survived by her children Mark Kreuger, Greenville and daughter Mary Beth ( Steven) Gassner, Shiocton, six grandchildren; Erica, Cora, Maraia, Isaiah, Josiah and Ahnna, sister Ruby Ziemandorf and one brother Lee (Barbara) Piechocki.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas, one brother in law Zeke Ziemandorf and baby Gabriel.

Family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Heartland Hospice for all the wonderful care they gave Ruth.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha, from 4:00-7:00. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at First English Lutheran Church 326 East North St Appleton at 11:00 am with a one hour visitation prior to service with Rev. Mary Bauer officiating. Burial will be at Bovina Cemetery.
