Age 83, passed away August 8, 2001 at Franciscan Care. She was born June 7, 1918 in Calumet County, WI to the late Rudolph and Amelia Mathes Schwalenberg. On September 30, 1950 she married Raymond Duchow in Chilton, WI. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Charmaine Goodacre, a son, Steve, a twin brother and sister-in-law, Ruben and Ruby Schwalenberg all of Appleton, her husband’s brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Luella Federwitz.

Private family services are to be held Friday, August 10th at 2:00 P.M. at Highland Memorial Park Chapel with Pastor Ken Frey officiating. Interment will follow at Highland.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Karen, Mary, Donna, Julie, and Unit Three at Franciscan Care for their loving care and the kindness of all the aides who assisted Ruth.
