Ruth loved her family. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed going for walks in the neighborhood with her “candy cane” walking stick. Ruth was visually impaired and felt it important to be active in the community. She loved bowling, volunteering at the Salvation Army and was a member of the Mission Club in Little Chute as well as the St. Elizabeth Society.
Ruth will be missed by her children Mary, Betty, Nancy, Linda, Sue (Larry) Duda, Karen Harp, Wayne (Chris), Paul (Linda) and Amy Sue, grandchildren Becky (Jim) Berghuis, Christina(Chris) Dombrowski, Chris Bassett, Travis, Jim, Tom, Cliff, Stephanie Allwardt, Barbara Duda, Melody, Charles (Tanya) Harp, Jessica, Heather, Tyler, and Katrina (Matt) Dugan, siblings Martha Evers, Richard (Marilyn) Wyngaard and Robert (Florence) Wyngaard. Further survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her daughters Donna and Jane, her parents, sisters Dorothy (Richard) Grapentin, Marie (Frank) Schiedermayer, brother Anthony (Theo) Wyngaard, brother-in-law Harold Evers and two grandchildren.
A Resurrection Mass will be held for Ruth on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 12 (Noon) at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, St. Mary Church, 119 W. 7th St., Kaukauna. MSGR Jim Vanden Hogen celebrant with Pastoral Leader assisting the Priest, Deacon Steve VandeHey. Private interment St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Family and friends may gather at St. Mary Church, from 10:00 am until time of Mass.
