Age 76, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007 at his home. He was born on January 13, 1931 in Appleton, the son of the late Roy and Selma (Wohlfeil) Yentz. Bud graduated from Appleton High School in 1950. After high school he proudly served his country with the United States Air Force in Germany during the Korean War Era. After his time in the Air Force he worked for many metal fabrication plants and eventually retired as a metal fabricator for Kimberly Clark. He was a life member and Cootie member of the VFW Post 2778 Harvey Pierre Post. Bud enjoyed hunting and shooting trap and skeet.

He is survived by two sisters: Dorothy Jean Zingsheim, Appleton; Beverly (Ed) Steinberg, Appleton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Ellen (Joseph) Machak, Betty (Bob) Derfus.

Funeral services for Bud will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wichmann Funeral Home (537 North Superior Street) with Rev. Jim Deckert officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment and military honors will take place in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in his name.
