Roy, My cousin, my blood, my friend. All my memories of you are fantastic! You were always fun, bold, courageous and supportive. You taught me acceptance verses tolerance. You gave me the gift of friendship & family and I am forever touched by your spirit. I loved our time together, our conversations and our love for life! I'll miss you and hold you in my heart forever. God holds you now, I will see you one day again, until then, keep smiling on us all, we will feel it!

We had the chance to reminisce with Roy this May about our vacations and times shared together. We all had great fun retelling stories of how he made us laugh, relax, and how he could throw a great party. When he would come to Don and Rich's parties in Milwaukee, he would stay for a while and always have another party to go to. Roy has moved on to the next party, and we'll miss him!

When talking to a friend last night about Roy's passing, I found myself saying that Roy lived a "Roy" life...a made-up adjective that means enjoying life every second one can without pause. Roy was so special in that respect, and he made those around him live a "Roy" life as well. I feel blessed to have known him. I sincerly hope that all those mourning his passing will think of that as well. We'll miss you!
