Rosella Bergman

Rosella Mary Bergman (Goehler), age 86, of Mt Calvary, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday September 10, 2012 at Villa Loretto Nursing Home. Ella was born on February 20, 1926 in Appleton, daughter of the Late Michael and Frances Goehler. Ella was a graduate of Appleton West High School. She married Carlton Bergman on May 26, 1951; he preceded her in death in 2006. Ella enjoyed arts and crafts, especially knitting, crocheting, sewing and baking. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and was very proud of all her grandchildren.
Ella is survived by her two daughters, Nancy (Charles) Lang, Canton, Michigan; Mary Ann (Robert) Lamers, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; grandsons, Jeffery (Laura) Lamers, Joseph Lamers and Phillip Lang; granddaughter Nicole (Derek) Sokoloski; two sisters June Bergman, Ione Loughrin; brother Jerry (Mary) Goehler; sister in laws, Phyllis Goehler, Irma West and Sally Mathewson; and brother in laws, Thomas (Jean) Bergman and Dick Bergman. She will also be remembered by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son in law Jeffery Bloy; brother, Michael Goehler; sisters, Bernice (Clarence) Williams and Marie (first husband Joe and second husband Sam) Utschig-Achterberg; and brother in laws Wallace Bergman and Cy Loughrin; as well as several other relatives.
A funeral liturgy for Ella will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11:30 AM at ST BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH (2331 East Lourdes Drive, Appleton) with Fr. Andrew Kurz. Friends may call the church from 10:00 AM until time of mass. Inurnment at St. Joesph's Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ella's name.
