Age 82, formerly of Appleton, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at the Central Todd County Care Center in Clarissa.
Rose was born August 3, 1923, in Orrin, North Dakota, the daughter of the late John and Theresa (Degenstein) Stroh. Rose met Allen Jaloszynski while he was in North Dakota working, and they were united in marriage on April 18, 1942, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. Allen preceded her in death May 30, 1985.

Rose loved to cook and crochet. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. For many years Rose volunteered at the Outagamie County Health Center.

Survivors include her children, Edward Jaloszynski, of Rutherfordton, NC, and Susann (Dale) Ellingson, of Long Prairie, Minn; her grandson, Mark Allen (fiancé, Jody Garry) Ellingson, of Long Prairie; and three sisters, Laura (Larry) Peterson, Corona, Calif., Theresa (Louie) Hamel, Lakota, ND, and Gladys (Jerry) Schanse, Anamoose, ND. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Ruth Jaloszynski, and three brothers, Wendlyn, Clemence, and Charles Stroh.

Funeral services for Rose will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton, with Father William Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the funeral home.
