Ed et al. - Thank you for the kind words and prayers. I can tell you that Ron's friendships meant the world to him and he was determined to make that last trip to Superior if at all possible. I know that all of you, whether in Superior or elsewhere, were in his thoughts toward the end as one of his last cherished memories. Best wishes to all.
Richard ( Dick ) Salo left a message on November 11, 2019:
Peggy: Pat & I are very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. We talked openly with Ron the last couple of summers in Superior attending FEX and class of '62 reunions about this illness and how the meds took their toll on him.
I've know Ron since early Blaine days in the 50's and we even worked with his Dad during college. Our friendship was separately by geography since the early 70's but always remained strong.
Please extend our condolences to the family.
Sincerely, Dick Salo
