Age 74, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. He was born September 17, 1934 in Appleton son of the late Joseph and Marie (Stuyvenburg) Dorschner. Roger was a veteran of the United States Army. He owned Christies Auto Service and Repair in Appleton for many years. Roger enjoyed building and flying remote control model airplanes, and he was an avid gardener. He was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church in Clintonville. Roger is survived by a brother, Robert Dorschner, Neenah; his sisters, Marge Hughes, Helen Ryan, and Karen (Charles) Briggs, all of Appleton, a sister-in-law, Jan (Skip) Guernsey, Medina; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Ronny, and Dick, and two sisters, Fern and Rose.

Memorial services for Roger will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton, with Pastor John Soto officiating. Gathering for family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial is being established.
