Roegene "Jean" R. Weber

Roegene “Jean” R. Weber (Rabideau), 91 years, of Menasha passed away in the quiet of her home on August 27, 2016. She was born to her loving parents Edward and Mable (Tonnon) Rabideau on January 17, 1925 in Neenah. She was raised in the parish of St. Margaret Mary and always active in her church. Jean enjoyed couples and singles bowling, was active in the YMCA, the Merry Makers Dance Club and 1 of the original 7 in the “Y Nots” choir. She also followed her favorite sports teams watching them when she could. Most of all Jean loved sharing time with family and friends amusing them with her humor and adding a perkiness to the room.

Jean graduated from Neenah High School in 1943. Shortly after she went on a blind date through mutual friends she met the love of her life, Joseph “Tom” Weber. They were married on November 28, 1946 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Settling in the town of Menasha their family grew and Jean was happiest raising her children.

Jean will be missed by her children Patricia Weber Wilcomb, Michael (Claudia) Weber, Susan (David) Beula, grandchildren Philip (Amy) Beula, Corrie (Steve) Kovacs, Allison (Adam) Skarie, great-grandchildren Anne, Gordon Beula and Neil Skarie, brother-in-law Emmet (Ruth) Weber and sister-in-law Terry Weber.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law Bruce Wilcomb, brothers Robert Ellis (Mary Jane) Rabideau, Woodrow Rabideau, Harold Rabideau, Reginald (1st wife Erna)(2nd wife Hazel) Rabideau and sister Gwendolyn (William) Fetters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 2, 2016 at 11:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 2nd St., Menasha. Fr. Paul Paider is the celebrant. Private interment at St. Mary Cemetery. Family and friends will be welcome from 9:30 am until time of Mass. Please wear your best “perky” attire to celebrate Jean's life.
