Robert "Pudge" VanLandghen

August 24, 1943 — May 4, 2018

Robert J. “Pudge” VanLandghen, 74 years, of Appleton, Wisconsin passed away May 4, 2018 surrounded by his family. Pudge was born August 24, 1943 to Fred and Alvina Vanlandghen (Wulgaert).

He will be remembered as a funny, generous man with a huge heart. He was always smiling! He loved to ride around on hisHarley and cruise in his Corvette. He loved being outside and it showed in the 31 years he worked at Reid Municipal Golf Course. After retirement, he still enjoyed helping amily and friends with yardwork. He also enjoyed working on small engines.

Pudge is survived by two sons Steve (Lori) VanLandghen and Jeffery (Rhonda Schemmel) VanLandghen, four grandchildren Holly (Jesse) Terrones, Zachary, Alyssa and Amber VanLandghen and great-grandsons Rylan and Kylar Terrones, brothers Jack, Doug, and Bruce as well as brother and best friend Dan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nancy VanLandghen (Peters), son Corey, sister Flay Huss and brother Paul.

A Memorial Gathering for Pudge will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 4 – 7:00 pm at Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Ave.,
Kimberly. Private inurnment.

Special thank you to the doctors and staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital for their loving care of Pudge.
