Robert J. "Bob" Ulrich

Robert (Bob) J. Ulrich passed away on Friday 10/8/21. He was born to the late Kenneth & Johanna (Stienen) Ulrich on 11/29/34. He joined the Marine Corps on 12/10/52 and served in the Korean War until 12/9/56. He married Louise Szdzik on 5/21/57. He was a long-time employee of Riverside Paper and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He spent most of his free time at Chute Pond, and later their cottage at Townsend Flowage. He also had the opportunity of a lifetime to take the Honor Flight in 2015.

He is survived by his children, Robbi (Richard) Srnka & Jackie (Gary) Wilber, 5 grandchildren (April Ulrich, Joe (Teresa) Ulrich, Kurt (Emily) Ulrich, Christian and Noah Wilber), 6 Great Grandchildren (Kiera & Kyler Uhlenbrauck, Talon, Sawyer, Ella & Kate Ulrich) and a sister Margaret (Ray) VanHandel.  He was preceded in death by his wife (Louise), children (Jesse & Andy), siblings and parents.

Memorial Service will be on Saturday October 16, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Wichmann Funeral Home (537 N. Superior Street Appleton, WI 54911) Visitation will be held prior to service at 3:00 PM until the hour of Service at Wichmann Funeral Home.   Burial will be at St. John Cemetery.
